GQ has been in the news lately, because of an ongoing dispute with TDE, over the cover story that named Kendrick “Rapper of the Year.”
The same publication has christened Pharrell, the man behind some of the summer’s hottest hits like, Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky” and Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines,” GQ’s “Hitmaker of the Year” in their upcoming December “Men Of The Year” issue.
P had this to say about his back-to-back hits: “Both songs are for people who need a break…There’s a lot of fucked-up travesty in the world. Sometimes you just need a Hallmark card. Sometimes you just need to shake your ass.”
For those who do feel the need to “shake your ass,” your welcome.
