Raekwon The Chef Is Nuttin’ To Mess With: Talks Wu LP Holdup

Last year the Wu-Tang Clan marked the 20-year anniversary of their getting into the game. There was a few concerts, most notably oversees. But, what’s a celebration without new music? Well, according to the RZA, who says he’ll release A Better Tomorrow sans Rae, the lone holdout in delivering verses is Raekwon. The Chef, however, cleared things up by way of a radio interview where he explained he’s on board, although, the business has to be correct. Peep game.

“I feel like it always be a lack of communication and respect as men, as people who built this thing together, ” Rae said via transcription by AHH. “It wasn’t just one cat. He mastermind it, of course, and I love him for that, and I’m always loyal because he came and grabbed me out the street, but today being a 40-year-old man and having three seeds… whenever I’m on the dance floor it’s business. It ain’t no disrespect. Don’t hit me with the brotherhood cause that’s unconditional.”
