Spike Lee to Direct Video For Eminem’s “Headlights,” an Apology Record To Rapper’s Mother

Em may have made for an awkward analyst last year when he stopped by ESPN to talk college football. But, here, he’s succinct: announcing Spike Lee was in town (Detroit) to shoot the video for the rapper’s “Headlights,” from the Marshall Mathers LP 2. The track is notable as it’s a public apology from Eminem to his mother, Debbie Mathers, who, along with ex-wife Kim, has been the target of the MC’s most vicious vitriol. Guess it’s too much to expect a tear-jerker?
