Lax Bros Aren’t Soft, MLL Calls Jay-Z Out With A Challenge. Will He Accept?

Jay-Z

Khaled’s latest single, “They Don’t Love You No More,” took the Internets by storm on Tuesday playing in every major radio station in the tri-state. It begins with Jay-Z dropping bombs of knowledge and continues to house the rhymes of Meek, Ross and French along with Jay. The track itself is an awesome collaboration. Thanks Khaled. However, there’s been a little controversy over one of Jay’s lines  – as always.

The subliminal shots between Drake and Jay are ongoing. Was Jay throwing another shot at the Degrassi alumni when he rapped: “Hatters wanna ball, let me tighten up my draw string/Wrong sport boy, you know you soft as a lacrosse team”? Even if he was, there are plenty of other people who took offense, other than Drake.

The Major League Lacrosse had a message of their own for Jay. In a written statement issued on Tuesday, a MLL spokesperson told MTV news: “Lacrosse is often called the fastest sport on two feet. Players are on the field dodging and shooting balls at over 100 miles per hour. With that said we don’t think Jay-Z knows what he’s talking about when he calls Lacrosse ‘soft’ I can guarantee you it is anything but a ‘soft’ sport,” the statement continued. OUCH! Think he’d survive? Watch the clip below and let us know.
