The uncensored version of “Road to Total Slaughter” and “Bright Lights” will run on WatchLOUD.com shortly after each broadcast.
“Road to Total Slaughter” will follow contestants Arsonal (Newark, NJ), Aye Verb (St. Louis, MO), Big T (Chicago, IL), Cortez (Brooklyn, NY), Daylyt (Watts, CA), Dizaster (Los Angeles, CA), Marv Won (Detroit, MI) and Math Hoffa (Brooklyn, NY) as they each attempt to battle their way to a spot on the “Total Slaughter” undercard on July 12.
The hungry pack of MC’s will be coached by battle rap legends Loaded Lux and Murda Mook.
“I’m a passionate battle fan, so this is something I’ve always thought about doing,” Eminem told Rolling Stone in April about the “Road to Total Slaughter” series and the “Total Slaughter” live event. “I came up battling at the same time I was making records and learning my way around the studio. It’s a little bit different in terms of the kinds of tools you need, but the competitiveness is the same. The times I didn’t win gave me just as much light in the past as when I did. It’s all about your performance.”
“Road to Total Slaughter” will lead up to the main event, “Total Slaughter,” on July 12th at New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom. Tickets are still available for purchase now.
