The ’90s provided me with some of the best TV years of my life. After running four seasons strong Saved by the Bell was followed by it’s “College Years” and “New Class” edition, exciting viewers beyond control.
In 2009 Dustin “Screech” Diamond wrote Behind The Bell, a tell-all book revealing what life was like on set of the hit-series. His scandalous stories included drugs abuse, sex game and everything in between. Now, thanks to Lifetime these moments will come to life in a television movie that promises to change the way fans look at the classic comedy.
Casting for the series has been made by the original Saved by the Bell casting director, Robin Lippin. The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story premieres Sept. 1 at 9 p.m. on Lifetime.
