Drake Announces New Album ‘Views From The 6’

Drake Announces New Album, Views From The 6

Drake’s OVO Sound label is about to have a huge rest of the year. It starts tomorrow, July 16, when Drake is set to host the ESPY Awards on ESPN. Then OVO will release two projects by new artists – the “Place Like This” EP by Majid Jordan and “PARTYNEXTDOOR 2,” both on July 29. You can hear PARTYNEXTDOOR’s new single with Drake, “Recognize,” right here.

Then Drake takes it tome to Toronto for OVOFest August 3 and 4. Outkast are set to perform, and if the past list of surprises guests is any indication, there’ll be a whole host of treats for fans to expect.

After OVOFest, Drake and Wayne head out on tour together, starting in New York on August 8. But the new album – which Drake apparently hasn’t even started recording yet – is called “Views From The 6,” allegedly a reference to his hometown of Toronto. And if “0-100” is any indication, we should be seeing him pop up by Spring ’15. Rip rip.
