Caleb James, of the SaveMoney collective, jumps on Erik Hassle’s “Pathetic” and creates what now is the perfect version of the track.

As the son of musician Steve “Stone” Huff, whose credits range from the Isley Brothers to Keith Sweat to a stint as R. Kelly’s bassist, Caleb James’ earliest credits came at age 10, as a background singer on a track from R&B singer Avant’s gold record, Private Room. Since then, the triple-threat talent has teamed up with friends Chance the Rapper, Vic Mensa, Joey Purp, and others to form Chicago’s SaveMoney crew.

The original version of “Pathetic” can be found of Hassle’s Somebody’s Party EP, which was released by RCA Records earlier this year.
