Details on Eminem’s double-disc ‘Shady XV’ album

Last night, Eminem shocked the world by announcing a new project called ‘Shady XV.’ Fans, however, were mostly left in the dark – is it a new solo album? A compilation? Something else entirely.

Billboard reports that ‘Shady XV’ will be a “two-CD compilation” featuring music from Slaughterhouse, Bad Meets Evil, D-12, Yelawolf, and other artists. The first single is ‘Guts Over Fear’ featuring Sia and produced by Emile Haynie, and it’ll be the closing song in Denzel Washington’s new film ‘The Equalizer.’ Listen to the single below, and look out for more new music coming from Em as we wait for Black Friday.

The album is titled ‘Shady XV’ as a commemoration of the 15 years passing since Eminem and his manager Paul Rosenberg founded Shady Records. That same year, in 1999, Em released his debut album, ‘The Slim Shady LP.’
