“Hot N*gga” rapper Bobby Shmurda has only one record to his credit, but is already building an arrest record. According to TMZ, the 20-year-old creator of the “Shmoney Dance” was arrested in the Brownsville area of Brooklyn for gun possession back in June.
According to court documents Shmurda, real name Ackquille Pollard, was showing off a weapon in an apartment and the police recovered a 9mm Glock pistol and a magazine containing 14 rounds when they went to investigate.
Shmurda, who was recently signed to Epic Records, could face up to 15 years in prison if convicted.
We’re note lawyers, but Shmurd may have snitched on himself in his own record as he rapped: “Like I talk to Shyste when I shot n*ggas/Like you seen him twirl then he drop, n*gga/And we keep them 9 millis on my block, n*gga..”
