The Game has been a very busy man in the studio. He’s been preparing to release the debut album for his Blood Money imprint entitled Year of The Wolf, featuring Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz and more. In a recent interview with VIBE, Jayceon Taylor lets us in on what’s in store for the album and a brief introduction to the label, which includes Dubb, Skeme, King Marie, and Pharaoh Jackson. Game also reveals that the title of the compilation album stems from his grandmother’s hatred for his beard.
But that’s not all he’s been working on. Next month, Game says that he will be heading down to Miami to put the finishing touches on his upcoming sequel to his debut album The Documentary. The album is set to involve everyone that was on board for the first project plus some new faces. Along with the help of Dr. Dre, expect Scott Storch, Just Blaze, Swizz Beatz and more to add their production expertise to the sequel and look out for Kendrick Lamar’s “heavy influence” on the album. The Documentary 2 is set to drop January 2015.
