Thirteen years ago today, America was struck by tragedy when terrorists used our planes to plow into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. Thousands of lives were lost that day, from the passengers on the planes to the unsuspecting victims in the targeted buildings. It took weeks before life could return back to “normal” and months before New York City recovered from the damage.

While the country took time to remember that unfortunate day, celebrities took to Twitter to pay their respects to those who lost their lives at Ground Zero. Artists like Christina Milian, Juicy J, Twista and more used today’s most trending hashtag #NeverForget in honor of 9/11. Rappers like Snoop Dogg and Chris Brown took the time to not only pay respect but pushed for people to donate to charity during a time when people need it most. Check out other reactions to 9/11 13 years later.
