Pharoahe Monch “Was At A loss For Words” After Hearing Eminem’s “Rap God”

Last year, Eminem name-dropped Pharoahe Monch in one of his stand-out tracks off Marshall Mathers LP 2. In “Rap God,” Em said Monch’s track “Bring It On” would “kill most rappers 99.99 percent” and that he “has been ahead of his time since he came out.” In an interview with Vlad TV, the Organized Konfusion rapper praised Em for showing love on the track.

“When I saw that, I was at a loss for words,” said Monch. “Em has pushed the envelope on rap to it’s limits and still does put the the vocal point on rapping even on the popular songs, the execution and the things are there.”

He also said that the record is “incredible” with “so many patterns.” But when asked what his favorite line from “Rap God” was, well the answer was obvious.

“The one about me,” replied Monch.
