Ab-Soul Continues To Seize The “Day” With Latest Track, “W.W.S.D”

TDE MC Ab-Soul took a break from his North American tour in support of his latest album, These Days, to share the results of some spontaneous musical inspiration. The track, “W.W.S.D (What Would Soul Do) finds Soulo reflecting like Christ in the wilderness on everything from his smoking habit to his loyalty to his label over Jackson Browne’s folk classic named what else? “These Days.”

His stream of conscience is existential and raw as he almost leaves his body prostrate on a mic stand:

“Why his name Soulo? How is he so smart?/We can see his four footprints in the sand when he walk/I like to refer to myself in third person from the third person/Thats a out-of-body experience of self/So I can see me for me and no one else”

Ab-Soul’s tour runs now through November 7th in San Antonio, Texas. Check the full schedule here and his CRWN interviews sponsored by Vitamin water here.
