Crooked I, Sway, King Tech & Mike Smith Reveal New Hip-Hop Competition

It looks like Total Slaughter is starting to rub off on the game. Slaughterhouse’s own Crooked I, Sway Calloway, his morning show DJ Tech and Mike Smith of SMH Records are set on launching a brand new hip-hop competition series dubbed, One Shot.

According to their official website, the competition will allow upcoming rappers to have a shot at the rap star life. The winner will be selected strictly based on their talent and performing skills rather than how likable they are. The series will be broken into three parts: The Audition, The Artist Mentoring, and The Main Event.

Unlike the average music competition, the final four of the 1,000 rappers selected to audition will get to work with Mike Smith, Crooked I, Jonathan Hay and King Tech to make songs that competing rappers will perform live in the Main Event. The final show will go down in Las Vegas with a number of celebrities expected to attend. Check out the full explanation of the new show here.
