Watch Flying Lotus & Kendrick Lamar’s Powerful Visual For “Never Catch Me”

Flying Lotus and Kendrick Lamar dropped their collaborative single, “Never Catch Me” a few weeks ago, but now they’ve released a visually stimulating video to go with it. The short flick starts out in a church for a funeral for two children, a boy and a girl. Once Kendrick’s verse starts flowing, the kids jump out of their coffins for an “out of body experience.”

Not only did they run around and play for the last time, but they busted out some serious dance moves in between. The powerful message of the song is truly brought to light disguised as what we think to be a tragedy. The ending is sure to leave you in awe and will have you swimming in a pool full of mind-blowing thoughts.

“Never Catch Me” is set to be featured on Fly Lo’s upcoming album You’re Dead. With appearances from Snoop Dogg, Herbie Hancock, and Thundercat, Lotus’ fifth studio album is set to be one to remember. Watch out for You’re Dead to drop Oct. 7 and check out the visual here.
