President Obama was minding his own business performing his civic duty at a Chicago polling place when an insecure (or overly confident depending on how to read it) guy wanted to send him a message.
The President was standing next to a woman named Aia Cooper when her boyfriend, Mike Jones–who is probably going to have a hell of a time at the DMV next time he goes–walked by the president’s voting booth and said, “don’t touch my girlfriend.”
Our level headed Commander-In-Chief played the whole thing off calmly and said, “I wasn’t planning to,” but got into a pleasant conversation with Cooper, who apologized for the comment.
“There’s an example of a brother just embarrassing me for no reason, just for no reason whatsoever,” Obama said to her and asked for her boyfriend’s name. They had a playful exchange before The Pres leaned in and said “You’re gonna kiss me. Give him something to talk about. Now, he’s really jealous.”
See, Mike. If you’d just kept your mouth shut this would not be happening right now. You are now the guy whose girlfriend got kissed by the President.
