Twitter was in a frenzy last night thanks to just one tweet from Meek Mill’s account. That tweet was meant to reveal the next single off his sophomore album Dreams Worth More Than Money, which dropped on on Funk Flex’s show on Hot 97. But like every other cryptic tweet from a celebrity, rumors were flying that the MMG rapper was finally released from prison.
Meek Mill was arrested over the summer for violating his probation from previous drug and gun charges from 2008. He’s been serving his three-to-six month sentence since late July, which has caused a major delay in the release of his new album. Meek tried to request for an early release to tend to his family and continue his career, but the judge denied him.

We all know too well that the hype can have the vulnerable and gullible running laps around the rumor mill. But nonetheless, prison isn’t stopping Meek from releasing more music off his highly-anticipated album. Boosie Badass comes through and destroys his verse on their first of hopefully many collaborations to come. Check out “F#@k You Mean” here.
