Ty Dolla Sign took over Irving Plaza on Sunday November 2nd as part of his ‘In Too Deep’ tour. The Taylor Gang rapper brought Ratchet N’ B to a new level alongside the likes of Joe Moses, Lil Bibby, and Mack Wilds. Hot 97’s Cipha Sounds and Drewski were in the building holding down the ones and twos in between each set, which kept the crowd turnt up all night.
L.A. rapper Joe Moses was the first to hit the stage. While DJ Official was holding down the turntables, Moses performed a mix of tracks off his recently released mixtape “All Out” and freestyled over several popular songs like Big Sean’s “IDFWU.” He also performed his single featuring Ty Dolla Sign, “For A Real 1” to get the crowd hype for the man of the hour..
Lil Bibby was up next to rock the mic with songs from “Free Crack II.” The crowd roared once the Chicago rapper hit the stage. All the screaming girls in the front row could barely control themselves as Bibby performed his hits “For The Low” parts 1 & 2. He also took the time to pick out fans from the crowd to teach him how to do the Shmoney dance. Stick to your day job Bibby.
Staten Island’s own Mack Wilds took the stage and made the ladies scream and cry tears of excitement. The actor/singer didn’t waste any time busting out his popular hits “Hennessy” and “My Crib.” Then Mack took it down a notch with his slow jams off his debut album New York City: A Love Story then picked the party back up with his special remix of Dej Loaf’s “Try Me” and his breakthrough single “Own It.”
After an extended wait, Ty Dolla Sign finally appeared ready to win over the audience. His memorable harmonizing filled the room with his renditions of tracks off Sign Language including “Dead Presidents” and “Lord Knows.” After bringing us back to his early days with “Toot It & Boot It,” Ty picked out a beautiful lady from the crowd, who was rocking a Ty Dolla Sign jersey, and sat her down on stage to perform the amazingly raunchy “Stretch.” Ty also brought out Fabolous to lay out their joint track “Type of Shit” before closing out the show with his most popular hits “Or Nah” and of course “Paranoid.”
