RZA and Cappadonna Break Down How Wu-Tang Clan Members Get Paid

RZA and Cappadonna recently spoke with HipHopDX about the upcoming Wu-Tang Clan album A Better Tomorrow, and in their separate interviews they both mentioned an upper tier of Wu-Tang Clan members that get paid more than the rest of the group. Cappadonna spoke bluntly and said the upper tier consists of RZA, GZA, Method Man, Raekwon, and Ghostface Killah.

RZA relayed a similar structure to DX, but said he thought the idea of different pay scales came from a third party. He claims to have taken the lower payment rung, but still said, “That has to be talked ab0ut.”

It isn’t really a surprise. Clearly certain members are deemed better by the public and have more star power than others.
