Meek Mill will finally be a free man, sort of. A source from FOX29 in Philadelphia has confirmed that the MMG rapper will be released from jail today. The Philly native has been locked up since the summer after being arrested for violating his parole. After several attempts by his legal team to get him out, Meek will be released but isn’t necessarily out of trouble yet.
Once he’s out, Meek must go through treatment, serve community service and is not allowed to cross city limits for the time being. This might cause some trouble for the upcoming release of his sophomore album. Dreams Worth More Than Nightmares was set to drop in September. However, due to his recent bid, the release has been postponed to a later time. Now that he’ll be home, we’ll most likely get an update on the album’s release sometime soon.
