Andre 3000’s 47 Jumpsuits Were Transformed Into Art [PHOTOS]

We’ve been hearing about this exhibit for months now. For Art Basel in Miami, Andre 3000 has lent his 47 memorable jumpsuits from the Outkast reunion tour to SCAD to create a new exhibit called “i feel ya: SCAD + André 3000 Benjamin.” The exhibit located in The Savannah College of Art and Design Museum’s pop-up at Mana Miami features the unique jumpsuits, which Three Stacks had custom made for each night of the nation-wide tour with Big Boi.

Each jumpsuit has a different, concise phrase that perfectly reflects the new socially dependent, digital generation. Some of the clever phrases include “Which type of stereo are you?” and “I’ve never been to afrika.” The suits are also accompanied by additional work from filmmaker Greg Brunkalla and painter Jimmy O’Neal. The artistic dedication to Mr. Benjamin will be on display until Dec. 7 and will resurface in Summer 2015 at SCAD in Savannah, Ga. Check out some of the suits that are on display now.
