French Montana and Harry Fraud Sound Reenergized On Mac & Cheese 4: The Appetizer

french

French Montana was once known as Max B’s sidekick, but when the Wavy One went away, it was up to French to keep surfing. Once he landed “Shot Caller” and an even bigger smash hit with “Pop That,” it paved the way for French to become one of New York’s most popular rappers.

Now he returns with the guy he has the most chemistry with – Harry Fraud – for Mac And Cheese: The Appetizer. Fraud didn’t get a placement on French’s debut album Excuse My French, but his beats complement French’s meandering vocal style, like a bed of drugs for an addict. “Dontchu” is a great example of how French’s singing voice is just as effective as his rapping voice, while “Sweetest Thing” is one of the most soulful beats Fraud has made in a minute.

Download the tape below. New Yorkers, celebrate – French Montana and Harry Fraud are back.
