Recently, the god Up North Trips commemorated the 15th anniversary of the Diddy and Shyne club shooting from 1999 on Instagram with the Daily News cover about the event. It was on that fateful night at Club New York where Diddy, who was dating J. Lo at the time, ran into Matthew “Scar” Allen. Scar pushed Diddy and gunshots rang off before Diddy fled the scene with Lopez in a Lincoln Navigator that also held a gun.

Charges against Lopez were dropped, but while both Puff and Shyne were hit with charges, Diddy got all of his acquitted and Shyne bit the bullet, getting a 10-year sentence for gun possession, reckless endangerment, and two counts of assault. Puff changed his name to Diddy to help brush up his image, while Shyne never recovered.

But there is another side of the story that many haven’t heard about. On UNT’s post, a woman named Natania Reuben claims she was shot in the face during the altercation. You can read her interesting comments below.
