On “Rap God,” Eminem launches into a rhyme scheme that may have been familiar to some: “Little gay looking boy, So gay I can barely say it with a straight face looking boy / You’re witnessing a mass-occur like you’re watching a church gathering and take place looking boy.”
An almost identical rhyme scheme was used six years ago on “Lookin’ Boy,” a song by the Yung Joc-affiliated group Hot Stylz from Chicago. TMZ reports that the group is now suing Eminem and Interscope Records for over $8 million thanks to the nearly 25-second interpolation of the “Lookin Boy” flow.
