Dallas Cowboys fans were infuriated with the referees from yesterday’s game against the Green Bay Packers. Since the team was down 26-21, Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett decided to go for it on fourth and two with only 4:42 left in the game. Once Tony Romo threw the ball down the field, Dez Bryant made the leap for one of the sickest catches of the season. But Bryant’s “football move” would end up costing the Cowboys the game.

Despite what the world witnessed on the field, the referees deemed that Bryant did not catch the ball due to the cruel and outdated “complete the process” rule that has plagued plenty of teams in the past. While Bryant seemed distraught once the call was reversed, he accepted the outcome but requested for officials to review the rule. Though they faced two “bad calls” of their own last week, the Lions even felt bad for the Cowboys.

The backlash from Cowboy fans was enough to incite a riot. While they cried until the end of the game, Packers fans went in all over social media about the catch. Trolls from all corners of the Internet curated the most hilarious the memes and tweets about the reaction from the team about the catch, especially Bryant’s. Check out how the Internet really felt here.
