Funkmaster Flex went on a rant last night with more bombs than Nagasaki, and it was directed at Jay-Z and his Life + Times website.
Flex says he got an email from a writer at Life + Times asking what his involvement was in the recent Dipset reunion. The Hot 97 DJ is pissed because he used to spin at 40/40 in Atlantic City, and they wouldn’t let him spin Dipset records. Flex also mentions that Life + Times once interviewed him when he dropped his own app and asked him about the making of the app, but when the story came out, it didn’t feature any of those details. Flex claims those details were instead incorporated into Jay Z’s own Magna Carta app via Samsung.
“I let you live in this town, don’t think I can’t ruin you,” says Flex, “because that’s a nice feather in my cap if I ruin you. Today we bumpin’ heads. Your site’s trash.” Is that direct shots at Jay? What the hell is Flex thinking?
Hear the rant above, which starts at around the 10:30 mark.
