Ink also sat down to speak with DJ Zeke and iboTV and touched on his expectations for the album’s response on the east coast. The “Body Language” rapper also lets us in on his top five favorite singles off the album like “Faster” and “Be Real” with Dej Loaf. Plus, Ink gave his perspective of producers and their tendency to mimic the sounds of the major players in the game.
“It’s crazy, you know how many people send me Mustard-sounding beats?” Kid Ink said. “It’s like ‘Guys, he’s still sending me beats. You don’t have to send me the same ones he’s sending me. I can get a Mustard beat if I wanted a Mustard beat. Don’t send me a knock off Mustard beat.”
Full Speed is set to drop February 3rd. Watch the interview in full here.
