Wow. The NFL actually made a good decision. According to the Associated Press, they’re adding Missy Elliott to the Super Bowl halftime show. The league isn’t so terrible after all.
At a press conference on Thursday, Katy Perry claimed an “old school” vocalist would show up. (“Old school?” Jesus.) “When you hear the first ring of the chord, I think jaws will drop and faces will melt,” she said. That’s good news, because no one except teenage girls has that reaction to Perry’s music.
Missy and Katy have released one song together – “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.).” Lenny Kravitz, another “old school” singer, will also perform at the halftime show this upcoming Sunday.
