Bobby Brown has finally spoken out about his daughter’s recent hospitalization. Over the weekend, his daughter Bobbi Kristina was found unresponsive in her bathtub by her husband Nick Gordon. Since then, Brown has been by her side and is reportedly “inconsolable.” According to E! News, Brown said he wants total privacy so that his family can properly give Bobbi the love and support she needs.
“Privacy is requested in this matter,” Bobby said. “Please allow my family to deal with this matter and to give my daughter the love and support she needs at this time.”
According to TMZ, the daughter of the late Whitney Houston has been in a medically-induced coma since Saturday. Her current status is unclear because family nor medical staff close to the case have commented. However, earlier this morning doctors tested the 21-year-old’s brain reaction to different stimuli and saw “minimal response” during one of the tests. While doctors see this as a very slight improvement, it will be enough to stall the dreaded discussion of “pulling the plug.”
The family’s lawyer has also spoken out to confirm that Bobbi is in a hospital in Atlanta but that “no additional information will be forthcoming.” It would be tragic for Bobbi to suffer a similar death that took her mother’s life nearly three years ago. Our prayers are with the family. We will keep you posted on any further updates.
