Drake & Nicki Minaj Want To Stay Neutral In The YMCMB Split

While the legal battle continues to rage on between Lil Wayne and Birdman, it seems like the label’s MVPs Drake and Nicki Minaj are trying to remain neutral in the matter. Since we’ve seen Cash Money Record artists like Tyga, Lil Twist and Tunechi air out their frustrations towards the label, we haven’t heard any complaints come from Drizzy and Nicki. Now, with Weezy’s $51 million dollar lawsuit, his Young Money artists are making sure they stay clear from the drama, especially after what went down during Grammy Weekend.

Bryan “Baby” Williams and his entourage were set on attending Ms. Minaj’s party at 1Oak in L.A. when security at the door turned them away. Soon after, a rumor that Nicki turned him away out of her loyalty to Wayne set fire across social media. However, people close to the “Anaconda” rapper have shut down that rumor and told TMZ that they were denied because the club was 15 minutes from closing and Birdman’s entourage wanted bottle service.

The source also claimed that both Nicki Minaj and Drake have “made it a point” to stay out of Wayne and Baby’s beef. Meanwhile Cash Money Records’ battle to stay afloat recently took another blow since former Cash Money member Turk filed his own million-dollar lawsuit against Baby. With both lawsuits plus the risk of loosing his all star artists, it doesn’t appear that Birdman has many options left to keep YMCMB intact. But Nicki still has some hope that Baby and Wayne will work it all out. Watch Birdman get denied at 1Oak here.
