It’s been over 20 years since Method Man made his solo debut with Tical in 1994. Not long after branching off from The Wu-Tang Clan, Meth began stacking up his own recognition with smash hits like “You’re All I Need” with Mary J. Blige, which won a Grammy. He also got close to The Notorious B.I.G. and became the sole feature on his debut album Ready To Die.

Not only was his music becoming stitched into hip-hop history, but his acting career began to take off after appearing in films like Belly with Nas, How High alongside his rapping partner-in-crime Redman, and Garden State. For this week’s #TBT, DJ Jus Dizle brings back all of Meth’s hits from “Bring Da Pain” to “Buck 50.” Check on the tracklist and listen to the Method Man mix here.
