Drake Has Taken Over Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop Chart With Every Song Off His New Album


Drake continues to break records with his surprise album If You’re Reading This, You’re Too Late. It’s barely been three months since the beginning of 2015 and the founder of OVO Sounds has already dominated the Billboard charts with every song from his new album. Not only have all 17 songs broke the top 50, but other smash singles that Drizzy has contributed his vocals to like Nicki Minaj’s “Truffle Butter,” ILoveMakonnen’s “Tuesday,” and Big Sean’s “Blessings” have all been placed high on the list.

While it’s not uncommon for multiple songs of his to appear on Billboard’s list, Drake’s previous record of 14 chart-topping singles has been shattered with 21 songs in total. IYRTYTL is still sitting at the top of the album charts with over 129,000 units sold in its second week with each song stacking up more than 1.8 million streams.
