RapFest recruited some of New York City’s rising talent for their next installment of their cypher series. Harlem’s own Vinny Cha$e, Brooklynite Manolo Rose and newcomer D. Di’Yari spit bars over a brand new instrumental constructed by producer Hazel. Manolo Rose stepped up to kick off the cypher right with rhymes about his experience and dreams of taking over the game. The RapFest’s UpNext artist D. Di’Yari spit about his boss moves in the streets for his introductory verse. Each bar flows smoothly with his low, growling voice that will intimidate the weak-hearted much like Grand Hustle’s Trae Tha Truth.
Vinny Cha$e along with Kid Art closed out the cypher with their clever rhymes about the streets of New York City from Harlem to Chelsea. In between each verse, producer Hazel spoke about his work on the instrumental and how he gave up the typical 808’s and switched them out for more rim shots. You can catch the cypher in full above.
