Tesla motors, the futuristic all-electric car maker, has announced that by the summertime their cars will be able to drive themselves. If you thought your wireless iOS update was fancy, Apple has nothing on the $70,000 Tesla Model S, which will get auto-pilot capabilities in its next software update, 7.0.
“We’re pretty excited about the progress we’re making there,” says Tesla’s Elon Musk. “The main test route that we’re evaluating is the San Francisco to Seattle route, and we’re now almost able to travel all the way from San Francisco to Seattle without the driver touching any controls at all.”
F*ck an Apple Watch, this is some tech we can get behind because some of our favorite artists refuse to get drivers when they desperately need them:
DMX, The Dog has had many days in court for various offenses, but he seems to catch the most heat for breaking the law behind the wheel. In this arrest Mr. Simmons was so far gone that he passed out in the squad car.
Xzibit, the Left Coast lyricist made his name pimping rides, but he got busted driving drunk in one on his wedding day of all days.
T.I.’s last run-in with the law came in 2010 when he was driving his Maybach with wife Tiny and got stopped by cops. T.I. made an illegal u-turn and was stopped by cops, who then smelled marijuana in the car and found other drugs.
Jason Kidd, former Brooklyn NETs coach and All-Star point guard was arrested for DWI in the Hamptons. During his stint with the Knicks he ran his Cadillac Escalade into a poll.
Marcus Paulk, aka ‘Myles’ from Moesha, partied a little too hard the night before Super Bowl 49 and was busted for DUI and marijuana possession.
