Noreaga aka N.O.R.E. sat down with Vlad TV and spoke about the first time he signed the contract for his first record deal. Back in 1996, Noreaga and his partner-in-crime Capone formed the rap duo CNN (Capone-N-Noreaga). Later that year, they got the first record deal of their career from Penalty Recordings, who would go on to release CNN’s debut album The War Report. During Vlad’s interview, the Queens rapper revealed what he did after he signed the contract. Trust me, it was no celebration.
N.O.R.E. said he shot someone the same day that he signed the contract with Capone. Although no charges were filed, N.O.R.E. said the man he shot (who he’s actually cool with now) said multiple stupid things to him before he pulled his gun out on him. Instead of letting it go, N.O.R.E. shot at him a couple times, made him run away and even left a flesh wound. Watch him tell the story in the interview above.
