Lee Mazin is no stranger to the game. For those who think she is, they need to get familiar. The Philadelphia femcee has been around for some time spitting freestyles over songs like Migos’ “Versace” and OT Genesis’ “CoCo.” Not only have her fans come to know her by her unique flow, but Philly’s reigning top-notch rapper Meek Mill has taken notice of her skills on the mic and has dubbed her the first lady of his Dreamchasers imprint. But she’s more than just a Dreamchaser.
“I like to pave my own way,” Lee told WatchLOUD. “We are sitting on two records together. But like I said, he’s working on his own album. So it’s like why rush it? I want that to be the perfect time. I’ve made it here this far without having to get the Meek feature.”
Lee is out to prove that she can stand on her own two feet. Her latest release No Love Lost features brand new songs she has kept away in her personal stash. The new mixtape also features collaborations with Trina, Remy Ma and more. In our exclusive interview, she talks about the inspiration behind the mixtape, how she feels about Dreamchasers and more. Her new tape is out now via the My Mixtapez app. Watch what she had to say above.
