An Underground Railroad TV Show Has Found A Music Producer In Kanye West

There seems to be no ceiling on the amount of news that Kanye West can generate for any given thing, and this little news chunk is no exception.

The casting call/listing for an upcoming TV show about the Underground Railroad, aptly called Underground, recently surfaced online, and the description leaves little to interpretation:

“Underground” follows a group of slaves who plan a daring escape from a Georgia plantation to cross 600 miles to freedom, aided along the way by a secret abolitionist couple running a station on the Underground Railroad, as they evade those tasked with bringing them back, dead or alive.

The show is set to star Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Christopher Meloni, and Aldis Hodge, and Kanye is apparently attached as an executive producer for the soundtrack, according to the release. I’m not sure if this means we’re going to be hearing notes of industrial music in this show or not, but this collaboration is bound to fall on either side of interesting.
