Tech N9ne continues to be the most successful indie artist in the rap game. The Strange Music CEO paid a visit to The Breakfast Club to talk about everything that’s been going on from his new album and tour to escapades with MURS and some wild strippers. The conversation began by speaking about Tech’s dedication to remaining independent. He said that he recently turned down a $60 million record deal because it “wasn’t enough.”
“Somebody just called and offered us $60 million and it wasn’t enough” Tech told Charlamagne. “I can’t say who it was but… I talked to my partner Travis and he said ‘Man with what we’re going to do this year, $60 million sounds like nothing.'”
Tech also talked about his upcoming album Special Effects. He said that the album is going to be his greatest because of his dedication to his late mother and his major collaborations with Eminem and Lil Wayne. Tech also praised the Internet because it has allowed him to tour around the world from Australia to Honolulu for the first time. Watch the interview above.
