Tomorrow will mark the 20th anniversary of the NBC/UPN TV series “In The House.” For those like me who might have forgotten, the sit-com centered around former football player Marion Hill, played by LL Cool J, who rents out the empty bedrooms in his mansion in California to a single mother Jackie Warren (Debbie Allen) and her two kids, Tiffany (Maia Campbell) and Austin (Jeffery Wood).
After the second season, the premise shifted to become more adult-oriented. Tiffany (Campbell) stayed to finish high school while Jackie and Austin moved to the East coast. Season three also began to show its connection to “Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air” with Alfonso Ribiero playing Dr. Maxwell “Max” Stanton and several other memorable actors like Tatyana Ali and James Avery making cameos on the show. The third season also welcomed “In Living Color’s” own Kim Wayans as Tonia Harris.
The show lasted five seasons before ending in 1999. The cast members have since disbursed and continued their careers, whether it was acting or music. LL Cool J is still dominating TV on “NCIS: Los Angeles” while Maia Campbell is in better shape after suffering with drugs and alcohol abuse. In honor of the anniversary, we decided to find out what the cast is up to now and see how much they’ve changed since the show ended.
