Sprawling Seattle rap collective ThraxxHouse is all about their music, with members like Mackned and Key Nyata buzzing off recent tracks like the highly addictive “100 Oz.” Now there’s another talented member coming to the forefront, and today we’re premiering his brand new video for “Cous Cous.”
BB Sun (pronounced Baby Sun), who used to live in Seattle but is now stationed in L.A., dropped his noir rap tape Gimme back in December of last year, and one of the strongest songs off the project, “Cous Cous,” is getting the visual treatment by director Terry’s Tacos. The pounding beat comes courtesy of LeDerrick, but it’s the way BB Sun sort of traces his voice around the production that makes the track so enchanting. If you’re looking for music to smoke Newports to at 4 in the morning, BB Sun is your guy.
Peep the video above, and look out for the ThraxxHouse boys on the come up.
