Young Thug’s Official Debut Album Is Coming Out This Summer

When Young Thug released his highly-criticized project Barter 6 earlier this week, people posed the same question they did to Drake when he pulled a similar stunt with his chart-topping album If You’re Reading This, It’s Too Late. Is it an album or a mixtape? While we’ve already taken the liberty of clearing that misconception up, Thugger’s label 300 Entertainment took it a step further by confirming that the 13-track body of work is the mixtape that will precede his debut album, Hy!£UN35. Thugger fans will recall his major label debut was originally supposed to be called HiTunes. Whether the upcoming LP is the original album in form, but not name, remains to be seen.

“300 is proud to present Young Thug!” 300 Entertainment’s Lyor Cohen stated in a recent press release. “We believe he is a unique artist who will have a special place in the future of hip hop.”
