Jurassic Park is that rare kind of film franchise that’s so deeply engrained in American popular culture that most everyone currently alive has at least heard of it. Theme park with dinosaurs? Yup, we’re all on the same page. 14 years since Jurassic Park III hit theaters and after about a decade in development hell, Universal Studios is moving ahead with the fourth entry in the franchise, whose second trailer just dropped today.
Twenty-two years after the first movie, Dr. Hammond’s dream of a dinosaur theme park has come to life in fully functional form. Human beings being human beings, however, people become bored with the whole concept and the scientists on staff decide to go full-out and just genetically modify a T-Rex, which breaks loose in the park and has to be put down with the help of on-site staff Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) and park operations manager Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard).
There’s a lot going on in this trailer, and I took it upon myself to immortalize nine of the best moments right here so we can gawk at them until we get to see the movie for real in June. Check them out below!
Wait…is Chris Pratt training those raptors?
