Remember MC Jin? He won Freestyle Fridays on BET’s “106 & Park” in 2001 and landed a deal with Ruff Ryders, whereupon he released his debut single, “Learn Chinese.” It was 100% ill-fated from the jump, even though he managed to land a song with Kanye, and just like the name of his debut album, the rest is history. He bowed out of rap in ’05 (after battling Serius Jones in ’04) and hasn’t been heard from since.
But now it looks like Jin is back on the mic – the stand-up mic, that is. Above you can see a short comedy set that Jin did earlier this month in New York City. It’s….not very good. We wish him best of luck with the DMX jokes, though. Watch it above and see if Louis C.K. has anything to worry about.
