Earl Sweatshirt Just Dropped Solace, The Project Dedicated To His Mother

Back in March when NPR Microphone Check interviewed Earl Sweatshirt about his new album I Don’t Like Shit, I Don’t Go Outside, he mentioned having another project in the can that was dedicated to his mom called Solace. “We set up a studio at my house and I did a little project real real fast. It’s called Solace. And that, I’m just sitting — it’s more for my mom.”

Today he dropped Solace on his “secret” Youtube channel, and you can hear the entire 10-minute project above. It’s got heavy jazz tones (bass lines, piano, etc.) and it features an Earl that sounds like he’s kinda nodding off. Let us know what you think in the comments below.
