Chinx was ready to work with singer Adele before he passed away. In his last interview with Vlad TV, the Far Rockaway emcee sat down and spoke about his last project Cocaine Riot 5. Chinx said that it was a good body of work because he was more focused, but it wasn’t his best. However, he had plans to move on from his notable mixtape series, which he started in 2011.
“It was a good project for me. You can see the growth in all my projects when I drop ’em. I wouldn’t say it was my best, because I love all of them. I wouldn’t know which one to pick. I was definitely a lot more focused on that tape because I knew what I was up against. I think I’m done with the Cocaine Riot series. We’re going to switch it up to something new.”

Chinx also revealed that he was really looking forward to working with singer Adele. The “Feelings” rapper sampled her world-renown single “Rolling In The Deep” for his and French Montana’s track “Had It All.” Chinx said that working with her would be “a dope collabo.”
“I really would want to work with Adele,” said Chinx. “Because her music is like similar to the type of shit we’re trying to put out. Her shit real soulful. You can tell she gets real in her feelings when she’s doing her music. I just always dug her sound. I think it would be a dope collabo.”
