Game Has To Pay His Old Nanny $200,000 For A Ridiculous Reason

Billboard is reporting that The Game was ordered to pay his old nanny Karen Monroe more than $200,000 in damages following a rant he made on Instagram back in 2013. In the rant, Game said Monroe did “very inappropriate and unbecoming things of a babysitter.” He never responded to her lawsuit for “defamation and intentional infliction of emotional stress,” so the judge automatically ruled in favor of the plaintiff and made Game pay $200, 647.

In the Instagram post Game accused Monroe, who also worked for Nas and Kelis, of smoking and drinking on the job, and claimed he “heard rumors that she inappropriately touched children in her home town.” According to Monroe’s attorney, this led to her receiving death threats, and she was treated for depression following the post.

Game was already in L.A. court earlier this week pleading not guilty to charges of an assault against an off-duty police officer during a basketball game earlier this year.
