Earlier this afternoon, Warner Bros. Entertainment announced a partnership with LeBron James that stretches across TV, movies, and digital content. That in itself is an exciting prospect, but what’s even more exciting is something that Capital New York reporter Alex Weprin caught:

You’re reading that right – new patents for Warner Bros.’ beloved animated basketball property Space Jam were filed about a month ago. Is it just me, or might WB and LeBron have something going on behind the scenes? The deal encompasses more than just this 19-year-old movie property, but could this become a reality?

Which ballers should have their prowess stolen from them this time around? I’m thinking Kevin Durant, Blake Griffin, Steph Curry, and Amar’e Stoudemire. Who you got?
