To Pimp A Butterfly is easily one of 2015’s most exciting and galvanizing albums, regardless of genre, and last night (October 20), Kendrick Lamar proved that it sounds even better when backed by a live orchestra.
K.Dot and the National Symphony Orchestra brought the energy and the groove to The Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., performing cuts off of TPAB as well as his previous album good kid, m.A.A.d. city. This is all the information we need before Kendrick takes to the road for more intimate shows later this fall.
