Ever since Key & Peele ended its five-season run on Comedy Central back in September, modern comedy’s dynamic duo (Keegan-Michael Key & Jordan Peele) have been busy securing projects both together and solo. Peele is directing his own horror movie called Get Out about being Black in America (really), and both are set to write and star in the upcoming Police Academy reboot.
Today (November 3), Variety announced that they’d be teaming up with director Henry Selick, the director of animated classics The Nightmare Before Christmas and Coraline, to make a stop-motion animated film called Wendall and Wild. Co-written by Selick and Peele, the story follows the two eponymous demon brothers, who are constantly at odds with the nun Sister Helly. Details are scarce, but if it’s anything like the unaired sketch below, we’ll keep our eyes open for it.
